Why Do We Exist?
KABEI was created to help Finnish companies and public sector organisations better understand modern China and Japan and their changing operating environments. The world is changing rapidly, and international cooperation requires a new kind of understanding.
We believe that good cooperation is built not only on information, but also on understanding, trust and local perspective. We want to build connections between people and organisations and bring Asian markets closer to Finnish organisations in a practical and understandable way.
Our mission is to help Finnish companies and organisations find and make use of their potential in China and Japan, and to build cooperation that leads to practical opportunities.
We don’t want to be a faceless consultancy. We’re here for you.

We are a team working across Finland and Asia, with local knowledge of markets, people and ways of doing business.
Kasperi Anttila
China & Japan Markets
Kasperi Anttila works with Nordic companies and public sector organisations in the Chinese and Japanese markets. His work focuses on market developments, new opportunities and building practical cooperation.
His particular interests include the green transition in the construction sector, tourism and education, as well as opportunities for Nordic small and medium-sized companies in China and Japan.
Languages: Finnish, English and Chinese.
Sun Bo
China Markets
Sun Bo works with KABEI on matters related to the Chinese market and education.
He has extensive experience in China’s education sector and a strong understanding of the Chinese operating environment. His particular interests include education, international cooperation and developing connections between the Nordic countries and China.
Languages: Chinese and English.
Christianus Jodi Yonathan
Japan Markets
Christianus Jodi Yonathan brings a local perspective to KABEI’s work in the Japanese and Southeast Asian markets.
His particular interests include the food industry in Japan and Indonesia, as well as business relations between Asia and the Nordic countries.
Languages: Indonesian, English, Japanese and Danish.
